Company EURONITKA Textile Research, Project Design, Consulting and Education, Ltd. Ljubljana, has been active since 1992. According to its activities it is divided into two parts:
The Textile Institute concerns for scientific-educational practice on all level of textile research considering the requirements of Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology for research group leaders and other participants. We are active in Seventh Framework Programme gaining possibilities for cooperation in EU projects on the fields of nano technology and other textile domain.

All member of our team have Ph.D. degrees and adequate academic/scientific titles. The group leader is also active evaluator at EU commission for project evaluation since 2003 and member of expert council for science and technology, Republic of Slovenia since 2005. We are also members of other expert and educational bodies including Textile Technology Platform.
Our scientific research work in last five years is evident from presentation of Research group – Institute of Textile; complete bibliography of each researcher comprise whole research, innovative, development and other activities.
Consulting is performed by a team of advisers specialised for technological development in textile companies. All members of the group have excellent knowledge of clothes making, gained by working on different levels of production, for example as technicians, engineers, even tailor apprentice and long years of studying to reach the Ph.D. degrees. During many years of practical work in production, the consulting team has gained rich experience and knowledge of almost all the phases and operations of clothes making procedure as well as the knowledge of production management work (craftsman-maister, quality control, technologist and head of department...).
So far, we have participated with numerous projects in Slovenia, Europe and with several production implementation projects in Egypt and Russia.
